This morning, as always, we got up early again.
It was very steamy and sweltering hot. After washing and breakfast, the bikes were quickly recharged and we left the campsite around half past eight. We headed for the woods around Wouw and Bergen op Zoom. After the woods we drove out of the Brabantse Wal and followed the old Zeeland national road.
At the border between Brabant and Zeeland we were welcomed by the municipality of Reimerswaal. While when you leave Brabant you will be welcomed by the province of Brabant. Curious.
Via the national road we came across the Scheldt-Rhine canal. Then via Rilland-Stationsbuurt in Krabbendijke.
There we bought something at the supermarket and we took some breaks in the shade.
The route was not exciting and we got on well.
At Nieuw en st Joosland I apped Liesbeth that we were approaching.
She was waiting for us, together with Jos, Wim and Debbie, at Jos and Wim's door. We waved, but we drove home.
Once there, the bicycles were unloaded and we sat down in the back garden.
Liesbeth had prepared a bowl of cold water for us to put our feet in. After they had been sufficiently cooled and soaked and we also cooled inside with cold drinks, Ernst and I took a shower.
Liesbeth has prepared a delicious meal for us.
After dinner Ernst left for his flat.
The following days the tents were dried, the sleeping bag and the clothes mountain washed and finally everything was cleaned up.
